About BDB
Company History
BDB was established in Stansted, Essex in 1978 with the brief to provide services to the construction industry. This led to in-depth involvement with contractors in the delivery of design and construct projects, so founding the Practices’ extensive experience in this sphere.
Diversification into the provision of professional consulting services to clients in the private sector followed with the expansion of commercial, retail and hotel works.
Continued expansion lead to the establishment of an office in Hampshire to service clients to the west of London and further diversification into education, industrial and housing sectors.
Key projects for BDB include several mixed-tenure housing refurbishment and regeneration projects in the East End of London for a wide selection of housing associations and local authorities. More recently BDB has been delivering cost consultancy and Partnering Facilitation services for local authorities and RSLs. It is this mix of management services alongside more traditional consultancy services that gives BDB its unique profile within the construction industry.
